Below you will find helpful files and websites that will provide you with great resources to use in the classroom, including information explaining the roles of educational interpreters.  Please e-mail us at news@cctrid.org if you need more information or have information you think should be included.


Working With a Sign Language Interpreter Form - A form that explains to teachers how to properly use an interpreter.
Interpreter Handbook from Rutherford County Schools - 16 pages long. Modify as needed.
Substitute Interpreter Notebook - Provides information on what should be included in your notebook.
Educational Interpreter Evaluation Form - Provides an evaluation form that may be used to evaluate the interpreters' skills.
Policy and Procedure Manual - Provides information on what should be included in your manual.
Technical Signs Website - Provides an ASL browser for learning signs in areas such as biology or other specialized areas.
